TOMATILLO x AVOCADO CREAMA
I’m often met with a sigh and gasp when I tell people I can’t eat garlic. Then I feed them a dish like this tomatillo and avocado crema with tacos from Laurent Dagenais, and the only gasps I hear are followed by " Can I have some more?” This simple recipe packs a lot of flavor and would be delicious on just about anything. Grilled chicken, Veggies, Fish, Steak, Eggs, your newborn baby's toes, your call! You’ll need an oven, a blender, ice, and a little patience.

These are the eight essential items you need in your pantry to make endless homemade dressings. I keep these on hand at all times. When I’m making a vinaigrette I use an organic extra virgin olive olive that doesn’t have an incredibly strong flavor. I save my most expensive grassy, polyphenol rich extra virgin olive oils for when I want the flavor of the oil to shine.
CARROT SLAW
This crunchy carrot slaw is a delicious alternative to traditional coleslaw. While I love coleslaw on occasion my body doesn’t care for raw cabbage, it can be bloating and hard to digest. This slaw will give you all the crunch and satisfaction of a traditional slaw without the bloat. Let’s make it!

These chicken meatballs have become a weekly staple in our house. It takes a total of 35 minutes to assemble, bake, eat, and store. We make them so much that one day, I ran out of breadcrumbs and substituted Ritz Crackers, and these Ritzy Chicken Meatballs came to be.

Since I went gluten-free three years ago I cut out challah and have cried watching it pass over my plate, just kidding I sub in Gluten-Free Brioche!
