THE 8 ESSENTIALS YOU NEED TO MAKE DRESSING AT HOME!
These are the eight essential items you need in your pantry to make endless homemade dressings. I keep these on hand at all times. When I’m making a vinaigrette I use an organic extra virgin olive olive that doesn’t have an incredibly strong flavor. I save my most expensive grassy, polyphenol rich extra virgin olive oils for when I want the flavor of the oil to shine.
LEMON TAHINI DRESSING
Let’s make my Lemon Tahini Dressing. This dressing, sauce, dip, thick or thin it is lick your bowl delicious.
CAESAR SALAD
It’s been over a decade since I’ve had a proper Caesar salad. As a kid, I loved when my parents would order a Caesar salad at swank old school restaurants, and they would make the Caesar salad tableside. It used to be a “thing” similar to having guac prepared tableside.
WARM CHICKPEA SALAD
The base of this salad is layered veggies for crunch, creaminess, texture, and flavor. I’ve made a few variations of this salad and it’s always hearty, filling, and delicious. Added bonus it’s vegan - I’m not but the salad is 😉
WARM CHICKPEA & FENNEL SALAD
This salad was essentially a delicious accident. I had fennel sautéing, eyed a can of chickpeas, and tossed them in with EVOO, lemon & Berbere Seasoning. This will make a great lunch or dinner.
CHAMPAGNE VINAIGRETTE
We love salad in our house. I find a good dressing makes all the difference and this vinaigrette will make all of your salads even more delicious.
